Leota L. Ducharme, 87, of Polk City, Iowa, died of pneumonia January 8, 1990, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Services were January 11, 1990, at Merle Hay Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ducharme was born in Brockburg, Nebraska, and lived in Des Moines for 22 years, coming from Michigan. She retired as manager of the clothing department at Montgomery Ward and was a member of Ankeny United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two brothers: Jesse Sellman of Mexico and Chancey Sellman of Keota; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
