BELOVED CITIZEN GOES TO REWARD
Thomas P. Thompson Called By Death at Rural Home
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at two o'clock at the residence for Thomas P. Thompson, aged 87, beloved resident of Falkville route one, who succumbed Saturday night at 10:45 o'clock following a week's illness.
Mr. Thompson was a life-long member of the Methodist church and was active in all community affairs of his district. For the past 65 years he has resided in the home in which he died.
The deceased is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Alford Love of Falkville, Mrs. Leslie Holmes of Falkville route one, Misses Beulah, Edna and Clara of Falkville route one; two sons, Olin and Earl.
Services will be conducted by Rev. R. N. Moore and Rev. G. O. Dobbs and interment will be made in Key cemetery, Peck directing.
