Mr. Eugene C. Tripp, 75, of Russtown Road, Ocean Isle Beach, died Friday, May 13, 2011 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center in Wilmington.

Mr. Tripp was born September 9, 1935, son of the late Leon L. and Ruth Huff Tripp. He attended United Vision Pentecostal Church in Shallotte, and had retired from the A&P Grocery Store in Myrtle Beach.

Mr. Tripp is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary Morgan Tripp of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Seigler and husband Mitchell and Beverly Vickers and husband Bubba, all of Griffin, Ga.; two brothers, Lacy Tripp of Shallotte, and David Tripp of Ocean Isle Beach; four grandchildren, Kyle Seigler, Kaylea Seigler, Seth Dawson, and Chris Milliken; and three great-grandchildren, Beth Milliken, Sarah Milliken, and Daniel Milliken.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at United Vision Pentecostal Church with Reverend Maurice Milligan officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery in Ash.
