Mary K. Cullivan, Oct. 24, 1926-May 12, 2011, Mary Katherine Cullivan, 84, 2452 Wabash Ave., passed away at 6:02 p.m. Thursday at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born on Oct. 24, 1926, in Athens, the daughter of Rex and Mildred (McGee) Moore. On Dec. 31, 1944, in Rochester, she married Laurence "Larry" Cullivan. He preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 2005. Mrs. Cullivan had been a homemaker, worked at Torin Corp., Rochester, Ritzcraft, Argos, and for Crystal Dairy, Rochester. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the singing group the Notables. She enjoyed knitting and gardening. Survivors include her daughter, Judy and husband Jim Showley, Rochester; two grandchildren, Ryan and wife Hope Showley, Rochester, and Kara Showley, Indianapolis; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Showley, Rochester, Lauren Showley, Rochester, and Chayse Barbee, Indianapolis; and sister-in-law Carole Moore, South Bend. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Moore. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester. Private graveside services will be conducted at Athens Cemetery, Athens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rochester High School choir department.
