JARVISBURG – Robert Alan TILLETT, 45, of Jarvisburg, died Thursday, Dec. 4 at Chesapeake General Hospital. He was the son of the late Elisha Gray and Vera Briggs TILLETT and the husband of Peggy Baum TILLETT of the home. He was a former member of the Jarvisburg Church of Christ where he was a former deacon. He worked with TNT Services, Inc. as a truck driver. Beside his wife, he is survived by three step-daughters: Caryn HARRIS of Grandy, Constance HALL of Colington Harbor and Jamie HALL of Virginia Beach, Va.; two half-sisters: Joyce MEEKINS and Lou EDWARDS, both of Wanchese; two half-brothers: Ray TILLETT of Homer, La. And Alton T. TILLETT of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 3 step-grandchildren; and an aunt, Julia YOUNTS. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. in the Jarvisburg Church of Christ with Minister Dennis CREHAN officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery in Jarvisburg.
