LaVerne Scarlett
Visitation for LaVerne Scarlett, 63, who died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1982, in Mesa, will be held from 11:30 a.m. until funeral services begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan 9, at the Memory Chapel. The Rev. Merle E. Heatwole will officiate.
Graveside services will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Scarlett was born Oct. 11, 1918. She moved to Prescott from Buena Park, Calif., 26 years ago and lived in Globe for the last four years.
She was a member of Golden Rule Chapter#1. Order of Eastern Star in Prescott, the Royal Neighbors in Allen, Okla., and The Free Will Baptist Church in Dardnelle, Ark.
Mrs. Scarlett is survived by her husband Fay of Globe, a son Jay Crawford of Tempe, a brother Bill Giffin of Allen, Okla., five grandchildren and several aunts and uncles.
The family suggest memorials to the American Cancer Society care of Jone Busse, 1030 Scott Dr. Prescott. 86303
