King of the Koryo Dynasty. He ruled Korea from 1351 to 1374. His ancient tomb was constructed from 1365 to 1372. Today this tomb is one of the thirty World Heritage sites (United Nations) called the 'Complex of Goguryeo Tombs'. He is buried here with his wife, the Mongolian Princess Queen Noguk. Also known as Gongmin of Goryeo, he was the 31st ruler of the dynasty which lasted from 918 to 1392.
