Florence Leila Goldsmith, 86, formerly of Asheville and resident of Boone for the past several years, passed away Sunday February 4, 2007 at the Blowing Rock Hospital.
She was born in Asheville, June 4, 1920 to the late John William and Emaline McAbee Goldsmith. She was also precedeed in death by her sister, Helen Goldsmith Freeman and brothers, Clarence and John Goldsmith.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Betty Collins Goldsmith of Asheville and several neices and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Collins officiating.
Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home.
