A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the Associate Manager for Eckerds Drug Store for 45 years and a long time member of West Asheville Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Gordon Charles and Lova Lovada Taylor Williams.
Surviving are her son, Nathan Williams, of the home; three sistersl Carrie Nobile of Shreveport, La., Pat Isaac and Gail Helton both of Asheville; a brother, Lloyd G. Williams of Tampa, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. James H. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
