Richard Gale Bish Jr., 36, of Madison Township, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011.

He was born Oct. 2, 1974, in Clarion, a devoted funeral director, Rich was the owner and operator of the Bish Memorial Funeral Home, South Bethlehem. He was a member of Oakland Church of God, the New Bethlehem Masonic Lodge and the Distant Fire Company. Rich was also very active with Little League and youth football. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

Rich is survived by his parents, Richard Sr. and Deboraha (Cornman) Bish; his wife, Trishia (Corle) Bish, whom he married Sept. 22, 2001, in Rimersburg; his son, Dylan Gale Bish, at home; his daughter, Peyton Abigale Bish, at home; his brother, David (Gretchen) Bish, of Rimersburg; his maternal grandmother, Pattie Cornman Rindler, of Ohio; nephews, Braxton and Landyn Bish, of Rimersburg, both of whom he held very dear to his heart, Tyler Bish, of Templeton, whom he loved like a son; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank Ab Cornman; his paternal grandparents, Robert M. and Lois June Bish; and an uncle, Henry Cornman.

Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at Rich's funeral home, BISH MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 206 South St., South Bethlehem. Funeral services will be held privately, with Pastor Jimmy Swogger officiating.

Private interment will follow in Kellersburg Cemetery.
