This memorial is for my stepmoms father.

Warsaw, mo - Michael E. Cox, 43, of newton, died Tuesday (Feb. 4, 1992) from injuries received in an automobile accident near Nevada, Mo. he was born Sept. 21, 1948, at Kansas city, Mo., the son of Eugene L and Ethel P. Stull Cox. He grew up in the northeast area of Kansas city and graduated from Loveland, Colo., high school in 1966. He married Linda Chandler in May of 1967 at Kansas city and they lived North Kansas city. He was an over the road truck driver, moving mobile homes from one area to another. He married Shirley Lauber on September 1977, and made their home in Newton. She Survives. He was the owner and operator of Landmark Motors in Newton Kansas for the last four years. He was a member of the Barry Christian Church at gash land, Mo. Other Survivors include a son, Brian of Norfolk, Va., a daughter, Andrea Chillcott of Newton; mother and stepfather, Ethel and John Bond of Wheatland, Mo.; a sister, Joane Warner of Modesto, California.; two half-sisters, Darlene Lawson of Ceres, California., and Tiffany Warner of Modesto. Funeral will be 11a.m. Saturday at the the Reser Funeral Home at Warsaw with the Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery at Warsaw. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
