ACKERMAN, MARGARET, 76, of Louisville, passed Monday, May 2, 2011, with her loving family by her side.
She was preceded by her husband, William Ackerman; and son, Timothy Logsdon.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Logsdon Vaughan of Florida; son, Phillip Todd Ackerman and daughter-in-law, Laurie Ackerman, both of Louisville; and grandchildren, Drew Vaughan and Lorraine V. Armstrong, both of Florida, Raymond Jones, Shelby Ackerman and Shane Ackerman, of Louisville; and sister, Evelyn Watkins, also of Louisville.
She was an active member of the Ladies Oriental Shriners of North America, Egypt Court, No. 76.
A memorial service will be held for her on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at Ferry Keys Baptist Church. She donated her body to U of L to help others diagnosed with cancer.
