Preston was born March 9, 1917, in Fort Worth. His spirit may have left this earth, but his joy of life and influence remain.
Survivors: Daughter, Carroll Collins; son, Gene Wiles and wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Cace Collins, Maggie Miears and Chris Wiles; and great-grandchild, Lincoln Miears.
