Nora Marie Lamb, 85, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Brooks-Howell Home.
She was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Noah and Leona Creasman Rice Clark. She was a member of West Asheville Baptist Church. Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin "Bud" Lamb, step-father, Andrew Clark, sisters, Dorothy Burrell, Mabel Hylton and Magdaline Caldwell, brothers, Charlie and Calvin Rice.
Surviving are her daughter; Barbara Lamb Davis, (Tony), son, Charles Calvin Lamb and wife Shirley, son, Rick Vance Lamb, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a great granddaughter due in July 2011, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 16 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Ander-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Flowers will be appreciated, if you wish donations may be made to Brooks-Howell Home.
