Gail Hunt was born January 11, 1929 in Chester, IL to Leonard and Cora (Craig) Hunt, both deceased. She married Delbert Wittenborn on June 7, 1947 and he survives.
Gail worked with the Rushville Elementary & Middle Schools for 24 years tutoring in language arts. She was a 1946 graduate of Chester High School in Illinois, member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority, played in a bridge club and was an avid gardener & reader. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Rushville.
In addition to her husband Delbert of Rushville, Gail leaves behind a son, John L. Wittenborn of Arlington, VA, daughters, Nancy & husband Dr. Robert Woodruff of Columbus, IN, Lee Ann & husband Richard Vaughan of Carthage, IN, Jan Wendt & fiance Dennis McNulty of Carmel, IN, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Pastor Jan Dimick will preside.
