VANDERVEEN- Shirley M Vanderveen, aged 70, of Grand Rapids, passed away March 27, 2002. Surviving are her son, David Vanderveen of Greenville; one sister, Marilyn Reintges of Grand Rapids; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vandervee was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew in 1984, and daughter, Linda in 1979. She was a longtime member of Central Reformed Church and volunteer at Blodgett Hospital. Funeral Services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Central Reformed Church. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, West Michigan Chapter or Central Reformed Church. The family wil receive friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at: Metcalf and J_____Funeral Service.

Shirley was my mother's first cousin.
