Composer, conductor, and arranger. Wrote musical scores for many motion pictures, television series, and radio productions of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s. He made several recordings as conductor of the Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra. Father of Daryl Dragon, better known as 'Captain' in the musical duo 'Captain & Tennille.'
