After an Illness of Ten Months with Tuberculosis of the Throat
Deceased was born in Osceola, Nebraska-Funeral Held Wednesday at 2:30 O'clock
Elbert A. McPEAK was born on 28th September in the year 1882 at Osceola, Nebraska and died on 12th day of March at 11:10 o'clock A.M. The end came as the result of tuberculosis of the throat, from which disease the deceased has been a sufferer for the past ten months.
Mr. McPEAK spent his early life in Nebraska and in 1899 came to Coldwater with his mother to reside. For three years he lived here and then went to Detroit where he resided until a short time ago. On the 11th of January, 1903, he was united in marriage to Miss Mable BRAGG, of Detroit. No children were born to this union.
Some time ago the deceased came to this city and made his home with his mother, Mrs. Charles THOMPSON at 204 south Jefferson street. Here with his wife he resided until the end. Besides the wife, the deceased leaves a mother, Mrs. Charles THOMPSON and three brothers as survivors.
The latter are Claud, of Randolph, Nebraska, Frank of Fredalba [sic], California, and Clyde, of this city. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock at the house. Rev. S.A. MANWELL will have charge of the service and internment will be in Oak Grove cemetery.
