Schmidt Rites to be Wednesday
Elmer R. Schmidt died Sunday, Feb, 6, at his home, 501 Robinson Drive. Funeral services will he held Wedneday at 1 p.m. in the Prescott Church of the Nazarene. Rev. A.J. Tosti and Dr. M.L. Mann will officiate. Burial will be in the Mountain View cemetery.
Friends may call at Hampton Funeral Home from 6 to 9 this evening.
Mr. Schmidt was born Nov. 28, 1906 in Iowa. He came to Arizona 53 years ago, and had farmed in Chino Valley for 21 years prior to moving to Prescott in 1963.
He is survived by his wife Margaret, of Prescott; three sons, Blake and Clem, of Prescott, and Floyd, of Fresno, Calif.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs L. R. Schmidt, of Glendale; two sisters, Miss Hazel Schmidt, of Glendale, and Mrs. Henrietta Wood, of Emmett, Idaho; and three granchildren.
