Margaret L. Schmidt
Margaret L. Schmidt, 75, died Thursday, Dec, 19, at the Hillhaven Nursing Home in Phoenix. Born Nov, 7, 1910 in Bonham, Texas she was the daughter of Oscar and Alice Rice Thorman. She moved to Peoria 65 years ago from Bonham.
She and her husband moved to Chino Valley and lived there 22 years before settling in Prescott in 1960.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Prescott.
She is survived by three sons, Blake of Prescott and Floyd and Clem, both of Phoenix; two brothers, Glen and Gale both of Phoenix; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St. Dr M.L. Mann and the Rev. Jack Abbott will officiate. Graveside services will follow with burial in the family plot at Mt View Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to service time Saturday at Hampton's.
