Pastor Cates served as minister at Christian Fellowship Community Church, a graduate of Oglethorpe University and taught at Murphy High School.
Visitation for Pastor Cates will be held on Sunday December 28, 2008 at Antioch AME Church at 1790 Ebenezer Rd. Conyers, GA from 3-7 P.M.
Funeral service for Pastor Cates will be held on Monday December 29, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at First Assembly of God Church, 338 Hwy 42, McDonough, GA., with Pastor Cyril Curtis, Pastor Tom Bates and Pastor Aimraj Maharaj officiating.
