Was a rather solitary man. Liked to go into the woods and sit and listen to
the sounds. Liked to walk the woods. Was a hard worker.
Sang, beautiful tenor voice, played the banjo, square danced before getting married.
Said he lost his voice after having the 1918 flu. "After that there was no
more music and not much laughter".
Moved to Uncle Dave Macon farm 1946, ostensibly purchased by Frank.
