Rosie was the daughter of Erick and Rose (Jacobson) Anderson. On September 28th, 1940 she married the love of her life, Wayne "Mike" Marsden in Dubuque, Iowa. Yes, they eloped!
Mike and Rosie raised seven children on their dairy farm in Albion Township. Mom was a true farm wife, not only working along side of Mike raising tobacco, feeding pigs, cows and chickens, in addition to taking care of the household chores and cooking three full meals a day.
Rosie loved to go fishing, play cards, garden, read and watch the Brewers on TV. Most of all she loved the family get togethers with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.
Rosie is survived by her children: Rochelle Millard (late Catfish-Charlie), Judy Jenson, Jan Luther (Rick), Sharon Marsden (partner, Dave), Tom Marsden (partner, Sandra), and Ginny Marsden. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren: Frank (Amy) Millard, Shelley (Scot) Rubitsky, Holly (Mitch) Millard, Cassandra (Paul) Abler, Kinan (Claire) Miller, Tiffany Jenson, Willis Thompson, Seth Marsden, Kalen (Robin) Marsden, Orrin (Alissa) Marsden, Lauren (Brandon) Marsden; great-grandchildren: Ella Millard, Grace Millard, Brone Jenson MacDonald, Sawyer Marsden, Ansel Marsden, Tegan Marsden, Jude Luebke, Elias Robinson, Tristan Robinson, Heather Daniel, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mike, son, Charles, her 6 brothers and 1 sister, grandson Lee Walcott, great-granddaughter Delilah Marsden, and son-in-law Charlie "Catfish" Millard.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Edgerton. Burial will follow at Albion Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 11 AM until the start of services.
