Demise of Samuel and Son by Kitty Carr May 13, 2012:
home-town in Marilla Falls, New York - -just east of Buffalo. Her father Isaac C. and Lassonia Favor Hoyt are buried in the cem there along with a daughter and several sons/wives. Beautiful small town, upstate NY is gorgeous. the family emigrated there from Danburryco, New Hampshire in 1840. Marilla's first husband was Samuel Vanantwerp who died along with a son when hit by lightening in their front yard. They were all Quakers. Contributor: Lynette Stephens (48082181)
