Ruby Jane Hester Davis, 62, of 117 Pine St. Cowpens, died Jan. 16, 1995, at her residence.
A Native of Lincolnton, N.C., she was the wife of Charles T. Davis and daughter of Bertha Hedgepath Hester of Lincolnton and the late Oscar Lee Hester. She was a member of Gospel Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Also Surviving are two daughters, Linda and Loretta of Blue Ridge; a son, Keith of Cooley Springs; Five sisters, Dorothy and Ann of Cowpens, Helen, Jewel and Virginia of Lincolnton; seven brothers, Howard, Woodrow, Jimmy, Buddy, Gary, Eddie and Junior of Lincolnton; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her father she was predeceased by a son, Charles Michael Davis.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 1995 at Gospel Baptist Church by the Revs. Hershel Hill and Azer "Red" Staton. Burial in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens in Cowpens.
