Ernest C. Burnoski, 81, of Fort Wayne, a native of Divernon, Ill., died Friday, Jul. 23, 1999, at the Arbors at Fort Wayne.
He retired in 1979 from Noren Pattern & Foundry in Fruitport, Mich., after 10 years of service and had also worked for Superior Steel for 21 years.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor; a son, Michael of Louisville, Ky.; a daughter, Kathleen Bornemann of Fort Wayne; sisters Margaret Simons of Bradenton, Fla., and Elsie Peregrin and Harriet Burnoski, both of Divernon, Ill.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Jr.
Services were held Tuesday at Kerley & Starks Funeral Home, St. Joseph, Mich. Burial was in North Shore Memory Gardens.
Memorials are to Michigan Lutheran High School in St. Joseph, Mich., or Beautiful Savior Lutheran School in Fort Wayne.
