Margaret Blevins, age 85, of Harrison, passed
away on Friday, April 8, 2011, at the Hospice of the Hills Hospice House.
Miss Margaret was born on September 18, 1925, in
Green Forest, Arkansas, the daughter of William Carl and Etta Gamble Officer.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph A. Blevins, two sons Ronald D Blevins and Ralph Blevins Jr., One Brother Thomas Officer and two infant sisters. Margaret attended and was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist church.
She was member of the ukulele club and enjoyed singing & playing at rest home and retirement centers for the residents, Mrs. Blevins was sales Clerk and homemaker.
Margaret Blevins is survived by her sisters and brother-in-laws June and Bill Coker of Harrison AR, Rose Mary and Charles Hodge of Diamond City, AR, Brother and sister-in-law Bill and Vilet Officer of Oklahoma City, OK, Daughter-in-law Loraine Blevins of Cassville MO, Grandson David and wife Julie Blevins and their children Lexi and Zac of Springfield MO, Grandson Mark Blevins Of St. Louise MO along with a host of nephews, nieces and many friends throughout the community.
Family will gather 1:30 P.M., Monday, April 11, 2011, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral service is 2:00 PM, Monday, April 11, 2011, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Bro. Charles Hodge and Bro. Ernie Nelson officiating. Sam Cecil, Jordan Cecil, Bill Hodge, Aaron Hodge, David Blevins, and Mark Blevins will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will follow in Fairgrove Cemetery in Green Forest, AR
