THE DEATH OF DANIEL H KILGORE
Expired While Eating Dinner
Corner Baugh was called to Monroe yesterday afternoon to see the remains of Daniel H Kilgore, who had died while eating at his dinner table. Mr Kilgore was 73 years old, and was one of the most notable of Lauramie -----He had been in declining health for some time. His lungs were effected and he had heart disease. A cancer appeared on the left side of his neck that gave him a great deal of annoyance. He was taken ill yesterday at 1 o'clock while eating dinner with his wife. His head dropped forward while he was sitting at the table and there was a convulsive reaction of the muscles of the body. His wife led him into an adjoining room and he died in a few minutes without having uttered a word. Mr Kilgore was married twice and the second wife is living. A son and two daughters are the other surviving members of the family, and they are living in the West. Miss Emma Kilgore a sister of the deceased is the principal at one of the public schools in Seattle, Washington. Mr Kilgore was a Member of Miller Lodge 268, F & A M at Clark's Hill. The funeral will b3 conducted from the Monroe church Wednesday morning at 10:00 o'clock. The interment at Monroe cemetery
