Son of the late Charles William Keheley and Annie Hyden, he was the widower of Catherine Roan Keheley. Additionally, a son, Kenny Hayden, preceded him in death. He was survived by daughters, Vickie Greenwood and Susie Lagasse (Felix); grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His funeral was held on March 13, 2009, with The Rev. Michel Spivey and The Rev. John Cromartie officiating.
