Mrs. William Adkison, aged 67 years, died January 14 at her home in Cornishville of influenza. Mrs. Adkison was a noble woman who was prominent and highly esteemed in Cornishville, and was active in all good work in the community. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Mr. Oswald Adkison, of Cornishville, and Mr. Lloyd Adkison, of Shelbyville, and also eight grand- children. The funeral was at the Cornishville Christian church Wednesday at 11 o'clock, conducted by her pastor, the Rev. R. B. Baker. Burial was in the Cornishville cemetery, the pall bearers being Messrs. G. S. Lawson, Lon Moore, Paul Shewmaker, J. R. Huffman, John Reed and F. C. Sims.
