Emily Renae Dugger, 29, of Madisonville, KY passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 after a long but courageous battle with Batten Disease.
She was born April 18, 1981 in Madisonville to Danny Lee and Sara Lyn Ragland Dugger of Madisonville. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Mary Ann Dugger.
Emily is survived by her parents; one sister, Hannah (Jeff) Dugger Witherspoon of Madisonville; one brother, Matthew Dugger of Lexington; grandparents, Gerald and Nancy Ragland of Madisonville and two nephews, J.T. and Jacob Witherspoon both of Madisonville.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 6, 2010 and 9:00 A.M. until the service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Dugger, Michael Dugger, Rush Dugger, Steve Summers, Michael Summers and Daniel Summers.
