Mrs. Barbara Connally Abernathy, 67, of Powder Springs, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2009.

A life-long resident of Cobb County, Mrs. Abernathy was formerly employed with Olan Mills in Austell and Big Lots in Dallas.

She was also a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Abernathy and grandchildren, Austin, Adam and Jessica.

Interment Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
