"Charlie"-Youngest child and only son of the late Margaret Holcombe Fitch and Charles Perkins Fitch III. Graduate of Deerfield Academy (Class of 1958) and Dartmouth College (Class of 1962). Joined the United States Air Force upon graduation from college, served in Viet Nam for many years. Was "career military" and was active until his death. Was briefly married twice but neither marriage produced a child. He is buried on the island which he loved and where he spent his childhood summers. Very much loved and missed by his two surviving sisters and many nephews and nieces. One of his older sisters, Sandra Fitch Stakely (Memorial ID: 67790484), whom he predeceased is buried next to him.
