Stella Green Slater, aged 68, wife of W. Harry Slater, died at the family residence, 160 Oak street, at 10:05 o'clock this morning.
Mrs. Slater was born in Coylesville, daughter of Hugh and Grace Green, and had resided in Butler 44 years.
Surviving are her husband, W. Harry Slater; two sons, F. V. of River Rouge, Michigan, and Harold J. Slater of Butler, and ten grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church.
Funeral services will be held from St. Paul's Catholic church at 9 o'clock Saturday morning with the Rev. Father P. K. Collins of St. Paul's Catholic church officiating.
Burial will be in the Calvary cemetery.
Stella's mother was Grace Ann Duff, daughter of Dennis Duff and Mary Ann Dugan.
