Edward P., 64, of Bethany died July 3, 1988. Known to thousands of Oklahomans as ""Ho-Ho the Clown,'' Mr. Birchall was an entertainer on KOCO TV in OKC for more than 29 years. As Ho-Ho, Ed also performed before innumerable children's groups in hospitals & homes. A lover of the circus all of his life, Ed free-lanced as a clown for years before his association with KOCO TV. Ed Birchall was born July 16, 1923 in Colchester, CT & he served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Ed was preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Patrick in 1974, and is survived by his wife, Beebe of the home, sons, Bill, his wife Mary Jane & their children, Matt & Megan of Edmond, Michael, his wife Patricia and their children, Laura, Katie & Andrew of Saudi Arabia, Sam , his wife Janet & their children, Cathy, Stephanie & Ann of OKC and Dan and his children, Richard, Crystal & Tiffany of OKC, daughters, Regina Birchall of Bethany & Charmagne Foster, her husband Lynn and their son Joseph of Austin, TX. A prayer service for children & adults will be held 6 p.m., Thursday, July 7, at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, NW 50th & Grove, where Mr. Birchall was an active member. A second service, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the church. The public is cordially invited to either Thursday evening service. Private burial will follow on Friday. Guardian West
