I.T.C. Chief Petty Officer Paul Robert Rewak 50, of Keystone Heights passed away Saturday March 19, 2011 from injuries he sustained from a motorcycle accident while in Belgium. He was born in Miami on April 25, 1960 and had been a resident of Keystone Heights for the past 16 years. He was serving in the United States Navy as an I.T.C. Chief Petty Officer and had attended the Freedom Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife of 27 years, Rose Marie (Lathan) Rewak; daughters, Carrie Rewak-Williams, Stacy Quinnell; parents, Paul Rewak and Joann Duarte, and his five grandchildren; his half sisters and brother, Holly Fajardo, Sherri Mayor, Susan Pineiro , Monya Tiner, and Mike Norris. Funeral services were held March 30 in the Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Herring and Navy Chaplin Williams officiating. Arrangements by Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home, 340 E. I.T.C. Chief Petty Officer Paul Robert Rewak 50, of Keystone Heights passed away March 19, 2011 from injuries he sustained from a motorcycle accident while in Belgium. Paul was born in Miami on April 25, 1960 and had been a resident of Keystone Heights for the past 16 years. He was serving in the United States Navy as an I.T.C. Chief Petty Officer and had attended the Freedom Baptist Church. His enjoyments in life were his family, riding his motorcycle, being at the beach, listening to music, traveling, photography, and just spending time with the people around him. Paul was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah. Survivors are his wife of 27 years, Rose Marie (Lathan) Rewak of Keystone Heights; daughters, Carrie Rewak-Williams of Lawtey, Stacy Quinnell of Valparaiso; parents, Paul Rewak and Joann Duarte, and his five grandchildren. He is also survived by his half sisters and brother, Holly Fajardo of Cummings, GA, Sherri Mayor (Lazero) of Cooper City, Susan Pineiro (Ricky) of Miami, Monya Tiner (Jay) of Callahan, and Mike Norris (Linda) of St. Mary's. Rose would like to give a very special thank you to her great friends DeWitt and Helen Hersey and the special people of Keystone Heights for all of the support they have given. Visitation for Paul will be held at the Freedom Baptist Church in Keystone Heights on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services for Paul will be held on Wednesday March 30, 2011 at 11 O'clock in the Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Herring and Navy Chaplin Williams officiating. Full Military Honors will be given at the church following the service. Burial will be at the Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
