delivered the eulogy. Mrs. Abbott died Sept. 14 in a hospital after a long
illness.
She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church, Lindenwood Beautification Group,
and YMCA Leisure Hour Club.
A native of McGaheysville, VA., she was a daughter of Joseph and Mrs. Elizabeth
Morris and the widow of John W. Abbott.
Surviving are three sons, Edward M. Abbott and Francell M. Abbott of Norfolk and
Harold Abbott of Washington; three daughters, Miss Gertrude A. Abbott, Mrs.
Geraldine A. Holloway and Mrs. Geraldine A. Sessoms of Norfolk; and 10
grandchildren.
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Jones Funeral Home in charge
