He was born in a Carroll County, Jan. 13, 1904, son of the late Charley McBurnett and Mattie Robinson McBurnett. Mr. McBurnett was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice McBurnett and a sister, Mrs. Lavada Goolsby of Tallapoosa.
Services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m., at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Alton Stamey officiating, assisted by Rev. Clarence Agan. Music was furnished by Harold and Pat Blackmon. John Eaves, Mike Thomas, Kenneth Johnson, Terry McBrayer, Larry Goolsby and Greg McNeese served as pallbearers. Interment was in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
