Born in France, Marie had worked as a waitress at the NCO Club in Fort Dix for many years, before later working and retiring as manager of Liberty Liquors in Ewing Township.
She loved to cook, tend to her garden, and was an avid animal lover, who cherished the dogs that she had throughout the years.
Mother of the late Robert Abell; she is survived by her husband, Frank A. Abell, of more than 58 years; two sons, Daniel Abell (Kerrie), and Frank R. Abell (Julie); a daughter, Patricia Abell-Lewison (Wesley); 10 grandchildren, Daniel, Danielle, Jacob, Jordan, Lori, Erin, Samantha, Andrea, Hunter, and Chloe; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Max Teixdo (Jacqueline).
Friends and relatives may call from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Thursday, at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Interment and graveside service will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Burlington County ASPCA, 6 Lilac Lane, Bordentown, NJ 08505.
