Funeral services were held for William V. Miller at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Green & Harrell Funeral Home in Bloomington, the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Mr. Miller died last Wednesday morning at the Bloomington hospital. Born on April 10, 1898, he was 63 years of age.
A retired tavernkeeper, Mr. Miller was affiliated with the New Unionville Baptist church. He also was a member of both the Moose and Eagles lodges.
Survivors are the wife, Bonnie Nadine Miller; two daughters, Mrs. Ivan Fleener and Mrs. Dores Niswander, both of Bloomington rural route; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Other survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Freeman, Mrs. Winnie McClarren and Mrs. Daisy Stahl, all of Worthington and four brothers, Wayne of Worthington, Lew of Bloomfield, Dave of Bedford and Ed of Bloomington.
Burial was in the Valhalla Memory Gardens.
