Willie Katherine Moore Davis, 95, of Cookeville, Tennessee, formerly of Sparta, passed away October 10, 2006.
Davis was born September 28, 1911, in White County, Tennessee, to Luther Moore and Mary Katherine Broyles Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Oscar Madison 'Matt' Davis.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Davis Birdwell, of Putnam County, Tennessee; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Nelson 'Bob' and Wanda Davis, of Putnam County; five grandchildren, Diane Ragland and husband Larry, Pam Manus and husband Monte, Michael Birdwell and wife Tammy, Brenda Birdwell, Annette Fuqua and husband Roger; six great-grandchildren, Hillary Getsey and husband Matthew, Mark Manus and wife Amber, Venessa Irwin and husband John, Ashley Fuqua, Brian Smight; and one great-great grandchildren, Thomas Gatsey.
Services will be October 13, 2006, at Hunter Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Highland Cemetery. Jeff Turner will officiate.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
