He met a young lady from Missouri named Sydney Jane Stanley and they later married in Platte county, MO. in 1866. The couple moved to Jackson County and bought a tract of land northland east of Mayetta approximately 3 miles. They built a 2 room log cabin with a lean-to kitchen . It was on this farm Noble and Sydney raised their family of 5 sons and 2 daughters.
