ARNETT ARNOLD, husband of Mary Frances Mims Arnold, was born in Pitt County, North Carolina. He died in 1853 in Henry County, Alabama, where his estate was probated in December 1853.

Neither his wife nor his children moved to Texas until much later. Therefore, it is believed he is buried in Henry County, not in Texas.

Arnett was one of the founders of the Shiloh Church, a primitive Baptist Church, in the southern part of Henry County. It is possible he is buried in the church cemetery. The exact location of both the church and cemetery have been lost with the passage of time.
