Mr. Walser was born July 10, 1922 in Chilicothe, TX to William and Lillian Mulkey Walser and had been a resident of Colorado City since 1992.He married Hazel Henslee on January 8, 1986 in Sanford, TX. He was a BMX installer for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co for 39 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a veteran of the US Army during WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Walser of Colorado City, a son, Douglas Walser of Canton; 2 step-sons: Winston Chandler of Amarillo and Phil Chandler of Colorado City; 2 brothers: Hershel Walser of Arlington and Otis Walser of Brownfield; 11 grandchildren , several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Richard Walser, 2 brothers: Melvin Walser and Floyd Walser.
