Mr. Arre was born Sept. 12, 1907, in Howard, S.D. He married Junis L. Larson in 1929. They farmed near Syre, Minn., and Ulen, Minn., before moving to Moorhead in 1935. They divorced in 1949. He married Tracy Jacobs Dec. 29, 1951, in Fargo. He worked as a farm laborer in the Fargo area and for the Works Progress Administration. He also drove truck for Janke Transfer and Reed Cleaners, both of Fargo, and was a parking lot attendant at Block 6 in Fargo. She died in 1995.
He is survived by two sons, Eugene (Inge), Columbia, S.C., DeWayne, Minneapolis; five daughters, Angeline (Russell) Thompson, Detroit Lakes, Minn., Ardis (John) Haglund, Lakeville, Minn., Joyce Bellowmini, DeNell (Virgil) Burk, both Minneapolis, Marvel (Dexter) Beckwith, Topeka, Kan.; two stepdaughters, Bernice (Vernon) Whaley, Moorhead, Beatrice "Pat" (Donald) Erickson, Fargo; a sister, Helen Regier, Eugene, Ore.; 33 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday from 4 to 8 in Korsmo Funeral Home, Moorhead.
Funeral: Tuesday at 2 in Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo
