Clinton Emerson Dies Here At 51

Clinton A. Emerson, 51, lifelong resident of this community, died about midnight Sunday in a Fargo hospital. Ill of a chronic ailment, he had been hospitalized about a week ago.

He was employed on a farm south of Fargo when he became ill. Mr. Emerson was born in Fargo Aug. 2, 1907.

He leaves nine brothers and five sisters, six in Fargo. they are Earl of 302 20th St. N., Barton of 63½ 5th St. N., Donald of 306 22nd St. S., Ernest of 421 24th St. S., Mrs. Clarence (Dorothy) Williams and Betty, both 1410 1st Ave. S.

The others are Charles of rural Moorhead, Lawrence and Ralph, both Portland, Ore., Walter of Seattle, Roy of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Ralph (Helen) Carlson, Wheatland, N. D., Mrs. Herman (Louise) Schonecht, Christine, N. D., and Mrs. Jack (Jeanette) Polum, Tacoma, Wash. A brother preceded him in death.

The body is at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home.

Clinton A. Emerson Funeral Set Friday

The funeral of Clinton A. Emerson, 51, lifelong resident of this vicinity, will be at 10 Friday in Hanson-Runsvold Chapel, the Rev. G. O. Danielson officiating.

Robert Monson will sing with Mrs. Merle Arnold, organist. Pallbearers will be Elroy Alverson, Chester Barnard, Frank Scheff, Paul Radtke, Ralph Carlson and Clarence Williams.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo. Mr. Emerson died Sunday.
