Mrs. Emerson Dies Here At 60

Mrs. Rose E. Emerson, 60, of 330 Twenty-fourth st N. died late Monday in a Moorhead hospital. She was born in Fargo, April 5, 1888. Her husband, Charles Emerson, died May 28, 1935.

She leaves 10 sons, Clinton A., at home, Barton T., and Donald L., both 26 Twelfth st N., Earl D., 2301 Sixth av N, Walter G., 702 Twenty-eighth st N, Ralph W., 709 Sixth av S, Charles W., rural Moorhead, Lawrence C., Portland, Ore., and Roy C., in the army, and five daughters, Mrs. Louise Wagner and Betty Lou, at home, Mrs. Joseph Baird, 704 Twenty-eighth st N, Mrs. Edward Peterson, 210 First av S, and Mrs. John Polum, 604 First av N.

She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Olson, St. Paul, Mrs. John Blaubelt, Huntington Park, Calif., and Mrs. Edna McCarl, Fargo, and 43 grandchildren. A son, Alton G., died in 1939.

Ivers funeral home will be in charge of arrangements.

Emerson Services Set

Services for Mrs. Rose E. Emerson, 60, of 330 Twenty-fourth st N, will be at 2 Friday in Ivers chapel, Rev. O. E. McCracken officiating. Music will be by Rev. and Mrs. Joseph Rostad. Pallbearers will be Lyle Barnard, Helmer Halvorson, Owen McKay, William O'Marro, Sr., William O'Marro, Jr., and Peter Swanson. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
