Funeral will be held Friday at 2 p. m.Lakefield Standard, Lakefield, Jackson County, Minnesota, Thursday, September 4, 1924ALBERT H. ARRE OBITUARYAfter a long lingering illness Albert H. Arre passed away at his home in Lakefield, Wednesday, August 27, 1924, at 4 p. m., at the age of 78 years, three months and 17 days. Mr. Arre suffered a stroke of paralysis about eight years ago, from which he never recovered, but the end was hastened by dropsy.Albert Arre was born in Bokken, Norway, May 11, 1846. He was united in marriage to Julia Kyle in 1869. They emigrated to America in 1871, settling in Rochelle, Lee county, Ill. In 1887 they moved to Radcliffe, Iowa, where they resided until 1905, when they came to Lakefield, Minn. and have resided here since. Two children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Arre, namely, Helen (Mrs. Bertil Holt), who died in 1900, and Ole, who resides at Ulen, Minn.Deceased is survived by his aged life companion and wife, one son, five grandsons, two granddaughters and three great grandchildren; also two brothers who reside in Norway.Funeral services were held from Bethlehem Lutheran church Friday, August 29, Rev. O. Fosso conducting the services. The remains were laid to rest in the Lakefield cemetery.
