Julie Lynn Lauber, age 54 of Metamora, Michigan passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at Brian's House Hospice Residence in Davison, MI. Julie Lynn Blair was born May 20, 1956 in Paulding, Ohio the daughter of Shade and Maggie Ruth Blair. She grew up in Cecil, Ohio and attended Paulding High School. Julie married Gary Robert Lauber on July 5, 1984 in Paulding, Ohio. They lived in Napoleon, Ohio, Visalia, California, Saginaw, Michigan and most recently in Metamora, Michigan for most of the last 13 years. Julie studied nursing at the University of Michigan-Flint Campus and graduated with a degree as a Registered Nurse, B.S.N. She worked as a R.N. in the Medical/Surgical Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital in Pontiac, MI. Surviving are her husband: Gary Lauber of Metamora, MI; her son, Bradley Scott (&Crystal) Miles of Birch Run, MI; stepchildren: Laura Ann (&Tim) Brubaker of Bowling Green, OH, Susan Kay (&Don) Buckley of Washington D.C. and Joseph Gary (&Sheri) Lauber of Lee's Summit, MO; ten grandchildren: Christian, Lauren, Logan, Marissa, Alaina, Nate, Aubrey, Sophia, Brady and Lexi; her parents: Shade and Maggie Ruth Blair of Cecil, OH; and six brothers: Charlie, Doug, Dale, Dave, Jeff and Kenny Blair. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, March 9 at Den Herder Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Tab Hunter of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Junction, OH. Burial will follow at the Blair-Adams Sun Valley Cemetery in Cecil, OH.
