Jessie Marie Guthrie Rankin, 86, of Smithfield, Pa. died September 17, 2008, at her home. She was born August 20, 1922, in Brandonville, W. Va., daughter of the late Earl Guthrie and Myrtle Rosenberger Guthrie.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Robert Hamilton Rankin, whom she was very devoted to, brothers, Clyde Guthrie and wife,Virginia, Fred Guthrie and wife, Mildred, Glenn Guthrie and wife, Janet, sisters, Matha Riggin and husband, Charles, Dorothy Pluto and husband, Joe, Mable Riggin and husband, Paul and Lucy Eutsey, daughter-in-law, Alice Rankin and brother-in-law, Charles Vansickle and Jess Hartman.
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister.
